GSI Maps 3D

GSI has opened a website titled “GSI Maps 3D” where anyone can easily view and download 3D maps of all parts of Japan since March 2014.

In addition, GSI has provided a tool to make tactile maps by using 3D printer since December 2014.

We introduce some examples of 3D models which are made with elevation data, aerial photos, and vector data by using 3D printer.
